What you need to know before purchasing your next English Labrador Retriever puppy!
We are excited that you are thinking about purchasing one of our English Labrador Retriever puppies! It is a serious commitment as these lab pups will be family members for years to come. Labradors bond quickly and are highly trainable, however, they require a family that is willing to give them plenty of love with lots of play time. Our puppies are exposed to farm animals, cats, small dogs and children, making them outgoing and confident when they leave our care at 8 weeks old. Puppies are sold as companions only and will be sent home with Limited AKC Registration. All potential puppy homes are chosen with the care to ensure that all of our puppies are treated as a family member. Our puppies will not be sent to homes where they will be kept outside for extended periods of time without supervision. Labrador Retrievers of all ages can quickly develop physical and behavioral issues if kept exclusively as outside dogs.
- Choosing Your Puppy -
We require that you fill out a puppy request form and include your preferred sex, color and size of your next English Labrador. All puppy purchases are based on a first come first served basis with families on the wait list being notified of availability first. You will have the option to choose your puppy in the order of those reserved on the day your puppy goes home at the age of 8 weeks. Pick up is by appointment and is available only to those who have been pre-approved.
- Important Health Information -
Puppies are dewormed bi-weekly, administered the proper vaccinations, health checked and microchipped. Families purchasing an older puppy or young dog have the right to a pre-purchase exam by a local board-certified veterinarian, done so at the buyers' expense. 8 week old puppies will need additional vaccines and boosters after leaving our care. All puppies and dogs are required to be enrolled in pet insurance within the first 7 days of purchase.
- Transport -
In order to ensure the health of each pup upon leaving our care we do not ship puppies and require that you are able to travel to our home. We are happy to assist in making travel arrangements for you and your family if needed. There are additional requirements/guidelines to follow if you will be flying home with your puppy as a carry-on. Please inquire for more information.
- Pricing -
Prices of litters will vary based upon pedigree and availability. We do not accept deposits to hold your place on the wait list, however, a formal reservation form is required once puppies are three weeks old. We offer a military (active/retired) and public service discount of $50, and a multiple puppy discount of $100 off for two.
